The little things.
I’ve tried by best to stay on track today, but it wasn’t easy. Instead, I got lost in the little things.
I daydreamed about the fabric of the universe, with all its bumps and lines. I meditated on the textures of my own skin, the trees, the earth… mother nature herself. That chick is wild.
Today was a day of the tiniest details having the biggest meaning. I kept my obligations simple: lunch with a friend, clean my bedroom, get my hair cut, read a good book.
Lunch was magical, and my friend is off on an exciting new adventure. I’m happy for her and inspired by her journey. My bedroom is calmer, cozier and feels more organized than ever. My hair has been tamed.
And the book I’m reading? It’s the first novel that’s kept my interest all year.
If every day could be this simple, yet extraordinary, life would be perfect.
See you tomorrow 🌤️🌙
Liz, I don’t email or comment on videos. But I wanted to take a moment to say what a lovely woman you are. And how great you are. You have tried so hard to straddle a line that was impossible to navigate any better than you have. Take time for yourself but know you will be missed and I can’t wait until you to come back. And those who are mean or are attacking you, please remember that those people are just trying to justify their stance. And they attack because they are not getting the response they think they should get. Just know you have many people who do care for you and your family.
Thanks April! This is a lovely comment and I’m grateful you came here to see me 🙂
Well now I feel like I must know the name of the book!
