I love free stuff!

I’ve been Pinteresting headboards for almost a year trying to decide whether to build a headboard or paint one on my wall. When I saw this beauty on a free post, less than two miles from my house, I knew I had to have it.

It was a pretty short project- using only basic supplies and tools. I purchased a few items from Amazon as well as used some stuff I had laying around the house.

This isn’t really a how-to tutorial, so you’re going to have to figure it out yourself. Do what I did – wing it until you create something you love!

What I bought for this project:

• Fabric (a curtain from Goodwill!)
• Cover button kits (2 @ $5.99each)
• Tack strip – this stuff is awesome
